Our Story

Soroptimist International Winam Club is a dynamic women’s organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through education, advocacy, and service projects in the Kisumu region of Kenya. Focused on improving the lives of women and girls, the Club engages in various activities, including providing scholarships and educational resources to support young women in their academic pursuits. They also run initiatives addressing health issues, such as reproductive health education and awareness campaigns, and work to combat gender-based violence through community outreach and advocacy. Additionally, Soroptimist International Winam Club collaborates with local organizations to promote sustainable development and economic empowerment, fostering a supportive network for women to thrive and lead in their communities.
